ZIM Laboratories has added another feather to its products, with the manufacturing and marketing approval of ‘Clonazepam Orally Disintegrating Strips’ in India, under Form46 by DCG(I). With this, the number of approved products has now gone up to 32.                                                                                                                                                                                                                      Clonazepam is the choice of drug and first-line treatment for the management of “Acute seizures”. It is also effective for the short-term treatment of “Panic disorder” and “Acute maniac”. Thus, rapid onset of action and ease of dose administration is a very important feature required in the drug used for the management of acute episodes of seizures. Similar is the case with Panic disorder, which requires immediate medical attention.
