ZIM Labs’ Dr. Nidhi Sapkal addressed 2nd Annual Innogen India Summit 2017

Principal Research coordinator of ZIM Laboratories Ltd., Dr. Nidhi Sapkal was invited as a speaker at 2nd Annual Innogen Summit India, 2017 held at Mumbai recently. She spoke about the various challenges that involve during product development in thin film technology platform. Thin films are a novel drug delivery system that enhances patient convenience to drug administration and thereby improving compliance to the therapy. ZIM Laboratories is a market leader in thin film based products with about 30 developed products being marketed in domestic and export markets.
The summit is organized annually for gaining insights on navigating the various regulatory regimes, evaluating partnership opportunities for Generics innovation, latest scientific advances in technology and optimal commercialization strategies to ensure effective foray in the promising global innovative generics market through substantial product differentiation
ZIM received IPA-ACG-Scitech Award for Best Innovation in solid dosage form in Dec-2016 for this Thin Film technology.
